Ukraine arrests property of ex-President Poroshenko's son

Ukraine has arrested the property of the son of former head of state Petro Poroshenko, Oleksiy (both are members of an association included by Rosfinmonitoring in the list of those involved in extremist activity or terrorism). This was reported on January 29 by the Ukrainian publication Insider with reference to the country's justice ministry.
It is noted that the son of the former Ukrainian president, being in London, ignored all summonses. As a result, Oleksiy was fined for evading mobilization, but decided not to pay the funds.
The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine decided to forcibly collect from him a fine of 51 thousand hryvnias (more than 123.4 thousand rubles).
"To ensure the implementation of the decision, guided by Article 56 of the law "On enforcement proceedings", I decide to seize all property belonging to the debtor", - stated in the document of the agency.
On the recognition of Oleksiy Poroshenko as an evader and writing him a fine on January 18 reported the publication "Strana.ua". Then the fine amounted to UAH 25.5 thousand (about Br61.8 thousand).
In December 2024, it was reported that the son of the former Ukrainian president was put on a wanted list for failure to appear on summons to the territorial center for recruitment and social support (TSC, the analog of the military recruitment office in Ukraine). It was noted at the time that he had the military rank of lieutenant in the reserve.
Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. Then the President of the country Volodymyr Zelensky (powers expired on May 20, 2024) signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country. In April 2024, the head of the Kiev regime approved the law on tougher mobilization.
