Truck traffic will be restricted in Irkutsk until the end of 2025

In Irkutsk there will be a restriction on truck traffic from February 20 to December 31. The restriction is aimed at increasing the capacity of roads and ensuring road safety.

The administration specified that it concerns vehicles with axle load of more than 3.5 tons. The restriction will be in effect on the sections of Karl Marx, Lenin, 5th Army, Chkalov, Rabochaya Staba, October Revolution, December events, Dzerzhinsky, Sofya Perovskaya, Baikalskaya, Sovetskaya, Sedov, Red Vosstaniya, Krasnokazachya, Deputatskaya streets, on Gagarin Boulevard and in Sudarev Lane. The restriction will not apply to passenger transportation by buses, transportation of cargo to prevent the consequences of natural disasters and emergencies, transportation of fuel, as well as the transport of organizations that carry out road maintenance activities. In addition, traffic will be allowed to vehicles of operational, emergency, rescue and medical services with identification signs and light signals.
