Bundestag chairwoman says failures in the fight against anti-Semitism in Germany

There are still pockets of Jew-hatred in the FRG and it is a disgrace for Germany. This was stated by the Chairwoman of the Bundestag Berbel Bas, speaking at the plenary session in honor of the Holocaust Memorial Day on January 29.
"We must be honest with ourselves: many Jews do not feel safe in Germany," Tagesspiegel quoted her as saying.
She also added that everyone in Germany must do everything to ensure that the Holocaust and the oppression of Jews never happens again.
On January 27, celebrations were held around the world in connection with the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. On this day in 1945 the Red Army liberated the largest Nazi death camp Auschwitz (German: Auschwitz). Russian President Vladimir Putin urged to always remember that it was Soviet soldiers who liberated the Auschwitz concentration camp and revealed the truth about Nazi crimes.
Rabbi Alexander Boroda said at a press conference at the Izvestia IIC that Jews in the Russian Federation feel badly that Russian representatives were not invited to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. The community advocates that the truth about Russia's true contribution to the victory in World War II and to the rescue of Jews should be heard louder and louder. Beard added that Jews also remember the help of other nations, such as the Serbs, Albanians, Bulgarians and Danes.
