"Island of Dreams" will help young talents to perform on the big stage

Since its foundation, the Dream Island cultural and entertainment cluster has been a partner of projects and initiatives aimed at supporting the country's young talents, providing the park's spaces free of charge for exhibitions of creative works and artworks by young masters.
In February, Ostrov Mechty launches its own open-ended project "Open Stage", within the framework of which pupils of creative schools from Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as independent groups and artists will have a chance to demonstrate their abilities and reveal their potential by performing on the park's big stage. The partner of the "Open Stage" project is the State Budgetary Institution of Moscow "Association of Cultural Centers of the Southern Administrative District".
"The Open Stage project is part of the social mission of Dream Island. It is more than a simple performance; it is a chance for young artists to feel like real stars on a modern stage. In Moscow and the Moscow region there are a huge number of creative schools that develop children's talents, and Dream Island has always strived to fulfill wishes and support gifted children. Thanks to our patronage project "Open Stage" - the opportunity to organize a performance will be given to everyone", - says Ekaterina Loshkaryova, Deputy General Director for Marketing Communications of "Dream Island".
Participation is free of charge, by preliminary booking. It is necessary to fill out a special form on the website and pass moderation. After sending it, participants will receive an invitation letter from the curator and together they will proceed to the organization of the performance.
Applications are accepted in solo or team format in the following genres: Vocal; dance; theater/spoken word; circus and music.
Performers on the "Open Stage" will be given unique opportunities and tools.
"Open Stage" will be located in the city promenade area on Moscow Square and will begin its work on Saturday, February 15. Performances of registered creative groups will be held at the venue from Thursday through Saturday, from 14:00 to 18:00.
All visitors to the park can watch the performances and support young talents, entrance to the events is free.
