February premiere program is traditionally not particularly extensive: all the best TV show creators gave the public to the long New Year vacations. This time we are waiting for a criminal comedy about the housing issue "Dear Relative", grim prison drama "Outsource" and even more exciting criminal story about the underground life of London of the XIX century "A Thousand Blows". About the most interesting novelties of TV series in February tell "Izvestia".

"Dear relative"

February 1
KION

In the center of St. Petersburg, in a large old communal apartment is arranged family female kingdom. Here live grandmother Vera Egorovna, her daughters Ira and Lisa, and pregnant granddaughter Olya and her husband Tolik. Together they are cramped, and apart - not boring, so the apartment with an expensive view of the center of St. Petersburg ladies decide to sell, so that Vera Egorovna and Ira could move to a country house, Lisa - to buy a cottage for happiness with her lover, and Olga and Tolik finally found their own mortgage meters. However, at the stage of finalizing the deal, it suddenly turns out that the apartment is still registered Dima - an alcoholic and debauchee, Ira's ex-husband and Olya's father, who, appearing to the former family, declares that the dead father-in-law, who had seen him in an alcoholic stupor, strictly and strictly ordered to leave the apartment for the family. Eliminate drinking Dima, who has become the only obstacle to the acquisition of real estate dreams, can not be bribed, or blackmail, or persuasion. And then the women decide to take extreme measures...

Serials, where a whole story has to be contained in a time period that is not enough for a school lesson, usually benefit from a detached view, a little from above and from the outside. Therefore, within the genre, army humor is especially well suited to white-ticket holders, personal dramas to owners of strong happy families, and communal squabbles to inhabitants of cottage settlements.

Screenwriter and director, intelligent St. Petersburg resident Anna Parmas in this case - a hundred percent choice for filming a comedy communal scandal. Those who had to actually evict from the apartment of a former relative, are able to vividly describe family wars for square meters only in terms of blatnoy music and articles of the Housing Code. At Parmas everything will definitely be fun, without drama. And for the joke in the performance of alkach Dima "I am a man who has been striving for ethanol all his life" she will forgive her unrestrained fun even the inhabitants of communal houses. It is also a goal, not worse than others.

"Outsource"

February 13
OKKO

The older the story, the more beautiful the legend. And the 1990s, moving away in time, become the source of absolutely exorbitant plots. The creators of the crime drama "Route" move further in realizing the turning point of the epoch: the action of the new series directed by Dushan Gligorov takes place in a special purpose prison, which is located in a frozen northern town.

The law here is the taiga, though the taiga itself is not visible, and man to man is not even a wolf, but a ghoul. A team of such "ghouls" decides to replenish the prison and personal budget in an original way, outsourcing the execution of the death penalty. It is easy to find candidates for executors among the relatives of those who suffered at the hands of murderers and rapists, who are spending their last days in this purgatory.

The relatives themselves, even those of quite intelligent appearance, when they hear the original commercial offer, are not indignant and do not run to the prosecutor (he himself does not shy away from the original business), but gladly lay out rubber-banded bundles of dollars for the right to shoot the villain in the back of the head.

Those who lived in the 1990s, at this point begin to wrinkle unhappily: of course, everything happened, but you have to know the measure. The creators of "Outsource" understand it in their own way: the audience is waiting for the struggle between bad and worse. Romantic hero Ivan Yankovsky, who seems to soon become a business card of domestic crime series, considers the invitation of killers to outsource the phenomenon of social justice, and other soulless vertuhayy see it only a successful commercial project.

Whose philosophy will win - we will see soon enough: the premiere of "Outsource" will be held on the eve of Valentine's Day.

"Tango on the Shards"

February 13,
KION

The dance of passion - a win-win option for attracting the viewer's attention. In the history of cinema, there is no shortage of evidence of this - from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis in "True Lies" to the sexy couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who pulled the average comedy action movie "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" with their fights and, of course, the tango.

Domestic filmmakers are not made for "Valenki" either, and Yulia Snigir takes emotional depth. The series "Tango on the Shards" combined personal drama, mysticism and characteristic dance: on the eve of February 14 housewives should cry their eyes out.

Nora is a stern businesswoman with a big black jeep and a carefully planned life: a high position in a large corporation, a successful marriage, a loving husband and two children. But the carefully constructed world collapses after the sudden death of her husband Ivan. As it turns out, earlier Vanya led a double game, had an affair with a dance coach and - for some reason the most surprising for Nora - secretly attended the tango studio!

The woman tries to figure out the dance intricacies, arranges a showdown with Vanya's mistress, throws objects, talks to her deceased husband in the mirrors and, of course, goes to the tango studio to once and for all answer the sacramental question: why did her husband do it?

Without passionate dancing the story of such a banal adultery on the screen does not dance. With the presence of tango the case changes - on Zalman King viewer of the era of public morality missed long ago, but here's the trouble: still does not come together. They say that Julia Snigir and her colleagues on the crew trained world champion in Argentine tango. Serious approach, but it still does not turn on! It seems that without Jolie here can not do without.

"Day Zero"

Feb. 20
Netflix

It seems that in addition to the honorary Oscar for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography, Hollywood stars with the role of good guys - not on the screen, so in life - can now expect another award. The role of the President of the United States, whether real or invented, becomes if not the crown, then a notable milestone in the career, marking the transition from the image of fighters against evil to demiurges. Suffice it to recall Anthony Hopkins, who played Nixon in the movie of the same name, or Harrison Ford, who fought a gang of terrorists in "The President's Plane", and Morgan Freeman, who saved the nation in "Clash with the Abyss".

Now it is the turn of Robert De Niro. In the new series, he will be the main authority and a bastion of confidence for the country, which found itself in the center of the apocalypse of the cybernetic age.

In the story, the popularly respected former U.S. President George Mullen is called to become a hero of the fatherland after the country's entire infrastructure collapsed as a result of a powerful cyberattack, which led to the deaths of several thousand people. Nameless terrorists promise that this is just the beginning, and Mullen, who heads a special commission to investigate the disaster, will have to make every effort to get to the truth and consider the most insane conspiracy theories, little by little realizing that sometimes it is in them lies a grain of truth.

Fans of conspiracy theories will not be disappointed. The director of the novel was the creator of "Narco" Eric Newman. The image of Mullen became for Robert De Niro one of the first major roles in the series, once again confirming that the pulse of modern cinema beats far from the wide screens.

"A Thousand Blows."

Feb. 21
Hulu

For many years, Victorian England appeared before the audience in the images created by Charlotte Bronte and Jane Austen. It's a world of noble families and sprawling fancy mansions, prim men and women draped in uncomfortable costumes and torn by conflicting feelings. The tradition broke in 2013 when Steven Knight released "Sharp Trump," a multi-episode crime drama set amid dirty hangars, spit-up dens, drunken stabbings and crime. The show was a success, and Knight doubled the pressure: in his new TV show "A Thousand Blows" criminal, bloody London will appear in all its glory.

The end of the 19th century. In the capital's pubs, at the back of the slums forgotten by God and the police criminal boxing fights gather gambling crowds. Anative of Jamaica with a strange name Ezekiah Moskow is one of the strongest boxers, who can only be opposed by a local native, a tattooed experienced fighter Sugar Goodson (Stephen Graham - "Gangs of New York", "Sharp Trump").

The sweepstakes in this place is run by Mary Carr, the leader of the female gang of "Forty Elephants", in the business of robbing stores. The madness of what is happening on the screen is overwhelming: it seems that the script of the series was written by an adept of shocking legends about the Russian 1990s, who added more blood and lavish Victorian costumes.

The impression, however, is wrong: the most striking thing about Knight's story is that it is true from first to last word. The "Forty Elephants" gang of women operated in London for at least three decades, and its members have long been famous on both sides of the law for their ability to avoid its intrusive attention.

Hezekiah Moskow was a champion of illegal rings for over a decade and left the violent sport after marrying and having a child. A dizzying story: how the showrunners of the series will wrap it up, we have yet to find out.

"Force Majeure: Los Angeles"

Feb. 23
NBC

Legal series - from "Boston Legal" to "Force Majeure" - have traditionally been a sleek fusion of expensive suits, cars and accessories, and fascinating detective intricacies that the main characters have to unravel. Legislative hooking and pathos clubs, investigations and fashion, lies and bureaucracy - a cocktail unconventional, but popular: "Force Majeure" endured nine seasons, collecting several prestigious movie awards. Now the audience is waiting for the spin-off.

Former New York federal prosecutor Ted Black moves to Los Angeles to open a law firm and start everything from scratch. His clients are the wealthiest and most influential members of West Coast high society. But it is not easy to spin in California: Black's firm is on the verge of bankruptcy, and the former prosecutor will have to make a difficult moral choice.

Glass skyscrapers and palm trees, restaurants with ocean views, court confrontations, beauties in minis, million-dollar deals and underhanded fights - expensive, rich, beautiful. Those who have been to Los Angeles can get nostalgic: the views glimpsed in the series after the fires, it seems, will not be restored soon.
