Moscow metro scheme on interactive screens will be translated into Chinese

The digital scheme of the Moscow Metro on interactive screens will be available in Chinese. Maxim Liksutov, the capital's Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry, said on January 29.

"There (on the interactive screens - Ed.) you can see in the near future separate sections in which we can build routes in Chinese for our guests and those people who are interested in the Chinese language," he said.

It is noted that in 2024-2025 are the years of culture of Russia and China.

On the same day it was reported that in the capital launched a train dedicated to the Chinese New Year. Thematic public transport will run along the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line of the capital metro for a month.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transportation and Industry Maxim Liksutov, as well as Chinese Ambassador to the capital Zhang Hanhui attended the train launch ceremony.
