Sobyanin told about the opening of a new school on Volokolamskoye highway

The construction of a new school on the territory of the former Tushino airfield has been completed at the expense of the investor, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his official Telegram channel. The project became the winner of the capital's award in the field of architecture and construction for 2023.

"In the building on the Volokolamskoye highway, a comfortable and safe space has been created for the education of 825 children," the capital's mayor noted.

For teachers and students made universal and specialized classrooms, as well as creative space on the type of a university campus with laboratory-research complexes.

The center of the school space became the atrium, which can be used as an assembly hall, as well as to hold mass school events in it. The school territory was also improved: running paths were laid and grounds for various sports were built, as well as an educational and experimental area with greenhouses.

The school will become part of Moscow school complex No. 58 and will welcome students in the coming school year.
