The foundation of a new mosque was laid in Feodosia

The ceremony of laying the foundation of a new mosque was held in Yuzhnoye in Crimea. The event united residents of different confessions, the press service of the administration of Feodosia reports in social networks.

The solemn event was attended by representatives of the administration and the head of the city district Ivan Kozyrev, writes IA SevastopolMedia. He emphasized the importance of the construction of the object for the spiritual life of the whole district.

Deputy Head of Administration Yulia Nekrasova expressed hope that the mosque will become a place of attraction for residents of Yuzhnoye and Podgornoye villages and will contribute to the preservation of traditions and culture.

Earlier in January, it was reported that in Bakhchisarai reopened for visitors the Great Khan Mosque Khan-Jami. It was closed for restoration.
