The driver of a truck fatally hit a pedestrian and fled in Krasnodar region

A pedestrian was fatally hit by a truck in the Krasnodar region. The driver of the truck fled the scene.

The accident occurred on the highway Dzhubga - Sochi - border with Abkhazia on the night of January 29. According to KrasnodarMedia news agency, a 34-year-old resident of Tatarstan was crossing the roadway when he was hit by a truck. The victim died of his injuries on the spot.

Employees of the traffic police managed to establish the identity of the driver, who fled the scene. He turned out to be a 46-year-old resident of the Rostov region. The fact of the accident is being checked.

In St. Petersburg, a carshare car hit a curb and then crashed into the wall of a house. As a result of the accident two passengers died. The driver and another passenger were hospitalized.
