An airplane crash in South Sudan kills 18 people


The crash of an airplane in South Sudan killed 18 people. Radio Miraya reported this on January 29 on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
"A plane carrying 21 passengers and crew members crashed while departing from the Unity oil field in South Sudan, killing 18 people and leaving three others in critical condition," the statement said.
It is specified that among the dead were two pilots of the plane.
Earlier, on January 13, the pilot of a light-engine plane died after the aircraft crashed into a dam in Australia and crashed into a crocodile-infested river. There were reportedly two people on board - the 63-year-old pilot and a 29-year-old female passenger. The man died on the spot, the woman was not injured.
