Monument to soldiers' mothers to be erected in Crimea

The sculpture "Mother escorting her son-soldier to the battle" will appear in Crimea. The memorial composition will be installed in Saki, the press service of the Republican State Council reports in its Telegram.

The monument will be erected in the resort park by the end of 2025, writes SevastopolMedia. The idea was initiated by volunteers. It was supported by local activists and representatives of the authorities.

As emphasized the head of the Crimean State Council Sergey Trofimov, the preservation of historical memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War is a sacred duty for everyone.

Earlier it was reported that in the Crimea opened a symbol of unity of the Crimean and Ural mountains. Art-object "Whisper of the mountains" appeared on the plateau of Ai-Petri. The composition represents two faces looking at each other.
