Restrictions on the reception and release of aircrafts have been lifted at Murmansk airport. This was reported on January 29 by spokesman for the Federal Air Transport Agency (FAA) Artem Korenyako.

"At Murmansk airport, restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft (AC) have been lifted. Temporary restrictions were imposed to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

He noted that during the period of restrictions, one airplane, making a flight to Murmansk, "left" for an alternate airfield. Aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport services took all necessary measures to ensure flight safety.

Temporary restrictions on the reception and dispatch of aircraft at the airport of Murmansk were introduced on January 29. On the same day, temporary restrictions on flights were imposed from 00:55 Moscow time at Kazan airport. Later it became known that these measures were lifted.
