The temperature record has been broken again in the Lipetsk region. This is the third record for the last three days.

GOROD48 in the Lipetsk Regional Center for Hydrometeorology and Monitoring writes that on Tuesday, January 28, the air warmed up to a record for this day +4.2 degrees.

The previous maximum for this day was recorded on this date in 1915. Then the thermometer columns rose to +3.1 degrees. Thus, the record of more than a century ago was broken the day before.

The average daily air temperature on Tuesday amounted to +2.8 degrees in Lipetsk. These indicators are typical for March.

Earlier, on January 28, the scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand said that January in the capital will be the hottest in the history of meteorological observations, and the average temperature background in Moscow will become positive for the first time.
