Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. It is noted that units of the "Center" group of forces liberated the settlement of Novelizavetovka in the DNR, units of the "Southern" group of forces took more advantageous lines and positions, and units of the "West" group of forces improved their tactical position.
"Air defense means shot down 165 unmanned aerial vehicles of aircraft type," the Defense Ministry added.
In addition, operational-tactical aviation, strike drones, missile troops and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces' troop groups hit the infrastructure of military airfields, production workshops, storage warehouses and assembly sites of unmanned aerial vehicles and uncrewed boats, as well as concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment in 156 areas.
The Defense Ministry added that air defense assets shot down 165 aircraft-type drones.
A total of 652 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 41,800 unmanned aerial vehicles, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems, 20,887 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,510 multiple rocket launchers, 21,041 field artillery and mortar guns, 30,878 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.
