Almost 14 thousand tons of vegetables harvested by farmers in Khabarovsk Krai

Farms and agricultural organizations have increased the production of vegetables and potatoes in 2024 in Khabarovsk Krai. This is reported by IA AmurMedia with reference to the regional government.
The collection of open ground vegetables amounted to almost 14 thousand tons. This is 23% more than in 2023. In addition, 13.2 thousand tons of potatoes and 3.6 thousand tons of greenhouse vegetables and greens were harvested. The growth amounted to 11% and 20% respectively.
The government notes that the positive dynamics is associated with the receipt of various subsidies and grants by agrarians. They are especially in demand before the beginning of the sowing campaign. Thanks to financing, farmers can purchase elite seeds, machinery, equipment and energy carriers.
Currently, there are four greenhouse complexes in Khabarovsk Krai, which operate all year round. In addition, farmers are expanding planting areas in the Amur, Komsomolsk and Nanai districts.
