Mishustin appointed Yulia Dyakova director of SIC Kurchatov Institute


Yulia Dyakova was appointed the new Director of the National Research Center (NRC) "Kurchatov Institute". The corresponding order was signed on January 28 by Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
"The new director of SRC "Kurchatov Institute" for a period of five years appointed Yulia Dyakova," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Russian government.
It is noted that Yulia Dyakova is an engineer-physicist and doctor of physical and mathematical sciences. In 2017, she served as deputy head and then head of the Kurchatov complex of NBICS-natural-like technologies of SIC "Kurchatov Institute".
From 2018, Dyakova worked as deputy director of the SIC for scientific work, and in 2021 she became the first deputy director for science.
Earlier, on December 27, 2024, Mishustin appointed Mikhail Kaminsky , Director of the Department of Economic Sectors at the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, as Deputy Minister of Economic Development.
