- Matvienko said that the SF is ready to promptly consider the law on benefits for heroine mothers

The Federation Council is ready to promptly consider laws concerning benefits for mothers with ten or more children, similar to the benefits of Heroes of Labor of the Russian Federation. This was announced by the Chairman of the Council of Federation Valentina Matvienko at the first meeting of the spring session on January 29.
She noted that the benefits include monthly payments, free unscheduled medical care, the opportunity to receive free vocational training, additional vocational education, free provision of land plots property.
"I am sure that for women who have given birth and bring up ten or more children, for mothers, I would say, with a capital letter, these measures will certainly be a great help. <...> The Federation Council is ready to promptly consider all the necessary laws," Matviyenko said.
The Chairperson of the Council of the Federation Council also pointed to her meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I met with the President, reported to the head of state our proposals on the composition and functionality of the Council. We continue to be active," she said.
Supporting participants of the special military operation (SMO) and their loved ones is an unconditional priority in the work of senators, Matviyenko said.
"Senators are required not only to continue to fine-tune the issues of legal and social protection of our fighters, but also to closely monitor how effectively the already adopted laws are implemented," she stressed.
Earlier, on December 20 last year, Putin instructed to extend to mother-heroines the benefits of Heroes of Labor of the Russian Federation. He noted that heroine mothers in Russia have the same high status as Heroes of Labor, but the material support of these titles is different.
