Two people were killed in a road accident in St. Petersburg


A car crashed into the wall of a residential building in St. Petersburg, killing two people and injuring two others. This was reported on January 29 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city and the Leningrad region.
It is specified that the accident occurred on the night of January 29 at 2:35 Moscow time. According to the agency, the 19-year-old driver failed to cope with the management, drove out on the sidewalk and then crashed into the wall of the building.
"As a result of the accident, two passengers died: a 19-year-old young man and an unidentified man," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the department.
In addition, two victims were hospitalized in serious condition. At present, an investigation into the accident is being carried out.
Earlier, on January 26, the driver crashed into a bus stop in Kurgan. It was specified that a 22-year-old girl driving a Volkswagen Polo failed to cope with the control and hit the bus stop "Im. Red Cross", where there was a woman, who as a result died on the spot from her injuries. A criminal case was initiated on the fact of the accident.
