In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk due to visibility of less than 50 meters and snowstorms limited the movement of some types of transport. This was reported on January 28 in the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Road Administration for the region.
"Restricted traffic for all types of transport on the north-western bypass of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk," - stated in the message of the press service in Telegram-channel.
It is specified that at the moment the movement of regular buses on the route Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - Novotroitskoye, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - LCD "Green Planet" and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - Troitskoye has been restored.
Also, Sakhalin Passenger Company spokesman Vyacheslav Batumsky told Izvestia that one of the trains got stuck due to snow at Sokol station.
"Look, naturally, the train got stuck because of the snow drift. The train reached Sokol station. There were three passengers in total. The three passengers were provided with a bus at the expense of the Sakhalin Passenger Company JSC. This bus took the passengers to the destination points where they planned to go," Batumski said.
He specified that at the moment there should be no disruptions in the schedule. The railroad line is being cleaned and there are no problems with it.
Earlier in the day it was reported that in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airlines decided to postpone eight flights for January 29 due to bad weather. It is specified that at the airfield at the moment visibility is 800 m, air temperature - -4 degrees, wind - 10 m / s, heavy downpouring snow.
