The air temperature in Moscow during the day will vary from +4 to +6 degrees. At night, the thermometer columns will drop to +2.

In the Moscow region during the day forecasters promise from +1 to +6 degrees, and at night the temperature may fall to 0.

A southerly wind with a speed of 3-8 m/s is expected.

Atmospheric pressure will be 749-750 mm of mercury column.

Leading specialist of the weather center "Phobos" Mikhail Leus told "Izvestia" that in January the temperature is above the climatic norm because this year the high frontal zone is located in the areas of the Arctic coast of the Russian Federation, and cyclones passing mainly by northern routes brought warm air from the Atlantic and the Mediterranean instead of cold air.

Earlier, on January 27, leading specialist of the information agency "Meteonovosti" Tatyana Pozdnyakova in conversation with "Izvestia" noted that during this week in Moscow and the Moscow region is predicted record warm weather. It is expected that January 30 will be the warmest.
