Belarusian Foreign Minister says there are risks of escalation on the border with Ukraine

The situation on the border of Belarus is not easy, provocations from the Ukrainian side are not weakening, said the head of the Foreign Ministry of the republic Maxim Ryzhenkov in an interview with "Izvestia."

"The situation is quite complicated. In fact, provocations from the Ukrainian side with regard to our border are not weakening. <...> The more people rattling weapons on the border on the other side, the higher the probability of escalation. Because who knows what kind of soldier will think of what. There have already been relevant episodes," the minister said.

There are also recorded a lot of militarized actions from the neighbors along the border of Belarus: Poland, Lithuania and Latvia, added Ryzhenkov.
