- Residents of apartment buildings will no longer be charged for accelerated capital repairs

The State Duma has proposed amendments to the Housing Code, according to which an accelerated technical inspection of the condition of an apartment building (MFB) and, therefore, possible capital repairs will be carried out once every five years at the expense of funds already paid by citizens for capital repairs.
As "Izvestia" found out, such a bill will be submitted to the State Duma on January 29 by Alexander Aksenenko, deputy chairman of the Committee on Construction and Housing, and Sergei Mironov, leader of the faction "Just Russia - For Truth".
According to the authors in the explanatory note to the bill, which Izvestia has, today the cost of accelerated inspection of the condition of an apartment building is different in each subject. Thus, the inspection of a typical nine-story building with four or five entrances in Astrakhan will cost at least 200 thousand rubles, while in some regions the prices for such services reach 300-400 thousand rubles.
"The bill will increase the responsibility of rego-operators, the safety of housing and in general will make the system of capital repair more effective", - explained "Izvestia" Sergei Mironov.
According to him, if the study shows that the house needs overhaul, the citizens will not have to wait for its conditional 20-30 years, not to mention the savings.
