Dictionaries-guides to Pushkin's works were presented in Moscow

A series of books "In a language inaudible to you", which consists of reference dictionaries to the works of Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, was presented in Moscow on Tuesday, January 28.
Dictionaries-guides were compiled by teachers of the Kostroma State University. In the books you can find a detailed interpretation of words from Pushkin's works, which children go through at school, but may not fully understand, because some words and expressions have acquired a different meaning over two centuries. The main goal of the series is to make speech better with the help of masterpieces of classic Russian literature.
"Do we understand Pushkin today? Unfortunately, not always. Unfortunately, not in everything. Including, learning the poet's verses, sometimes you catch yourself thinking that you yourself a separate word combination, a separate concept do not know or do not remember", - said the Governor of the Kostroma region Sergey Sitnikov.
The head of the region added that the rhythmic, compound and "brook" of Pushkin's poetry is exciting.
The series "In the language you inaudible" was developed as a manual that will help to preserve and develop the Russian language and study the culture and history of Russia.
Earlier, on January 1, 2025, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to prepare a single line of Russian language and literature textbooks by June 1, 2026. This task was set following a meeting of the Council on the implementation of state policy in the sphere of support for the Russian language and languages of the peoples of Russia. In addition, the head of state asked to include patriotic works by contemporary writers in school reading lists.
