US school principal detained after alcohol-fueled party involving 100 children

In the United States, the principal of Elizabeth Hill-Brodigan Elementary School was detained on the fact of a party with alcohol, which was attended by more than 100 children. This was reported on January 28 by ABC News TV channel with reference to the police statement.

The incident occurred on January 19. Police officers from the city of Coco Beach, Florida, arrived at the home after a call about a large house party.

"Noticed over 100 minors wearing matching t-shirts in the home, many of whom were consuming alcohol, which was later discovered to be in the refrigerators out in the open," the police statement said.

According to law enforcement, one of the children was found on the front lawn of the home. He required medical attention after consuming a large amount of alcohol. Also, one minor was arrested for DUI.

In addition, police found that a teacher from the same elementary school, Carly Anderson, was also present at the party. Both women were arrested on charges of neglect of parental duties and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Earlier, on January 26, police in Amarillo, Texas, reported a man was killed in a nightclub attack. Another eight people were injured. It is specified that the police officers detained three men, one of whom opened fire on the crowd with a rifle.
