The AFU attacked a residential building in Energodar with a drone

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have attacked a residential building in Energodar, a satellite town of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant (ZNPP), with a drone. This was reported by the city administration on Tuesday, January 28.

"Again recorded an attempt of the AFU to attack Energodar. In the center of the city the AFU drone attacked the roof of one of the residential buildings", - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.

It is specified that there are no casualties as a result of the incident.

Earlier, on January 26, Ukrainian forces attacked Energodar with a drone. It was specified that the Ukrainian drone was shot down in the center of the city. As a result, there was no destruction and no casualties.

Before that, on January 22, it was reported about the attack of four drones on Energodar. Then the city authorities specified that there were no casualties, there was also no information about the destruction, no fires followed. On the same day, the communications director of ZAE) Yevgeniya Yashina said that the target of the AFU drone attacks was civilian infrastructure.

Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
