Ukrainian journalist Butusov reported the supply of cornmeal grenades to the AFU

The Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) have been given grenades for combat use which are filled with something similar to corn flour instead of a charge. This is reported in a video by Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov.
In the footage, which on January 27 cited in his Telegram channel Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk, the AFU military disassemble one of the grenades and pour out of it a yellow substance. One of the soldiers said it was corn flour.
Butusov in his Telegram-channel specified that these are F-1 grenades, and defective ammunition of this type should not be in the Ukrainian army since December 8, 2024, as confirmation, citing an excerpt from the order that prohibits the use of such grenades. Dmytruk, in turn, wrote that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whose powers expired in May 2024, "steals everything from porridge to grenades from soldiers."
Viktor Gordienko, an AFU fighter who surrendered in Kursk Region, said on January 20 that sergeants acting as commanders in the Ukrainian infantry sent military recruits to positions without providing them with the necessary weapons. For example, Gordiyenko did not see a single tank in the tank unit.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
