Sales of Avatr 11 crossover began in Russia

Sales of the electric crossover Avatr 11 have started in Russia. The price of the model starts from 6.95 million rubles. This is stated in the message of the company Changan Motors Rus, which was received by Izvestia on January 28.

The electric crossover is presented in Russia in three modifications, which differ in powertrain and interior layout. In the initial configuration Avatr 11 will be presented with rear-wheel drive and CATL battery capacity of 90 kWh, which will provide a range of 575 kilometers.

In the second modification, which costs from 7.5 million rubles, the battery capacity is 116.79 kWh, two electric motors in total develop 578 hp (650 Nm), provides all-wheel drive. Acceleration to a hundred takes 4.5 seconds, and the range on a single charge is 625 km. The flagship version with separate "captain's" seats on the second row costs from 7.8 million rubles.

The first owners of the Avatr 11 crossover will receive a lifetime warranty on the electric components of the crossover, in particular, the CATL battery, electric motors and electric motor controllers. The promotion will be available to customers who purchase the vehicle before February 21. The rest will get an 8-year warranty.

Changan announced the launch of the Avatr luxury electric car brand in Russia on November 12. The brand was created in partnership with Chinese IT giant Huawei.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the new Tank 400 SUV will be available on the Russian market in two configurations priced from 5.8 million and 6.2 million rubles respectively. The model will appear at dealers by mid-February.
