Moscow City Court has passed a sentence in absentia on the internationally wanted 40-year-old citizen of Ukraine Irma Krat, who committed an attack on the Russian Embassy in Kiev in March 2016. About it on January 28 reported in the press service of the capital Prosecutor's office.

"Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor of the Prosecutor's office of Moscow, the court sentenced Krat to 7 years of imprisonment with serving the sentence in a penal colony of general regime," - stated in the Telegram-channel.

The defendant was found guilty under part 2 of article 360 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attack on the official premises of persons enjoying international protection, committed for the purpose of complicating international relations").

On March 10, 2016, together with two accomplices, Krat set fire to wicks on homemade incendiary devices.
