The Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation has interceded in favor of gardeners from Sochi, whose plots were seized en masse. This follows from the CC ruling of January 28.

According to the document, gardeners whose plots were located on the territory of the Sochi State Natural National Park can expect compensation. The cases of plot owners are sent for revision.

The national park was founded in 1983 by order of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR. According to the law in the late 1980s - early 1990s, it was allowed to allocate plots from the lands of the state fund for collective gardening. However, in 2021, the environmental prosecutor's office decided that the plots had been illegally registered as lifetime inherited property, and they began to be seized en masse, Gazeta.Ru added.

In early December 2024, lawyer and expert on gardening and land use Nadezhda Loktionova warned that dacha dwellers could face a fine for throwing snow from the plot onto public roads. The fine for this will be from Br5 to Br15 thousand. In addition, according to the lawyer, it is inadmissible to place fuel, other combustible substances and materials on the pre-floor sheet.
