More than 5.5 billion rubles will be allocated to improve water supply in Kuban

More than 55 kilometers of water pipelines, 38 water supply and sewage facilities are planned to be built and repaired in Kuban in 2025. For these purposes, the regional budget provides over 5.5 billion rubles, the press service of the regional administration reports on Tuesday, January 28.

"Modernization of communal infrastructure, first of all, water supply system is an important component of comfortable life in our settlements, farms and villages," said Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, he was quoted by KrasnodarMedia.

According to him, in the Seversky district a main water pipeline to the village of Azovskaya will be completed. The length of the pipe will be almost 35 km. An artesian well will be modernized in the settlement.

Also six wells will be repaired in Novokubansk. Similar works will be carried out in the villages of Ladozhskaya, Nekrasovskaya, Suvorovsky and Krasny farm.

A new water intake will be built in Ust-Labinsk. The capacity of the facility is estimated at 8 thousand cubic meters per day. In addition, in the current 2025 in the city will complete the reconstruction of the collector on Demyan Bedny Street.

Earlier in January it was reported that law enforcers revealed facts of embezzlement of more than 4 billion rubles of budget funds during the projects of development of three ports in the Krasnodar region and one in Primorye. Two people have been arrested.
