More than 4 thousand participants registered for the social architect competition

More than 4 thousand participants have registered for the contest of social architects. This was reported in the press service of the project on January 28.

"The number of those wishing to participate in the contest of social architects has exceeded 4 thousand people. The contest was launched on January 14. In the first day more than 800 applications for participation were received. For two weeks their number increased five times," the report says.

Managing Director of the Expert Institute for Social Research (EISR) on interaction with the expert community Firdus Aliyev noted that such statistics shows that the contest fully meets the demands of today.

"In fact, the contest is called for the first time in the history of our country to systematize the impressive baggage of experience of social architecture that already exists in Russia and to identify the best actors in the implementation of such projects," he said.

Earlier, on January 14, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kirienko said that the state allocates significant funds to support social initiatives, but the main factor is always people with a non-standard vision, and the competition is aimed at finding them, he explained.

The contest of social architects is aimed at finding and selecting professionals who design and implement initiatives to solve urgent public problems. It is held with the support of the ANO "Russia - the Country of Opportunities" and the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. On January 14, the registration of participants started, which will last until February 11.

The in-person finals are scheduled for the second quarter of 2025. The winners will receive a grant for training under the development program of the Higher School of Public Administration of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration on the basis of the Senezh Management Workshop unit of the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization "Russia - Country of Opportunities".
