In Krasnodar the ground on Moskovskaya failed for the seventh time

Another ground collapse occurred on Moskovskaya Street in Krasnodar on Tuesday, January 28. Traffic had to be changed, reports the press-service of the city streetcar and trolleybus department.

The hole was formed between Zipovskaya Street and the Institute of Culture. Streetcars № 5, 8 15, 20 and 21 temporarily launched on another route - through the final stop "Dekabristov Street".

According to IA KrasnodarMedia, for the first time the ground on Moskovskaya collapsed in the fall of 2024. For all time there were seven of them. The cause of the accident is the deterioration of the collector, which was built in the last century.

Now the local authorities are working on fixing the problem to prevent similar situations. They plan to complete the repair of the 800-meter pipeline by May 1, 2025.
