Several dozen houses will be demolished for the sake of residential development in Kurgan

More than 20 private houses and several garage cooperatives will be demolished in the center of Kurgan. There is an active development of residential complexes in this area.

We are talking about the territory near the Burovo-Petrovsky Bridge. The houses are being liquidated at the expense of developers, a source from the development sector told Ura.ru news agency.

The agency explains that the authorities have allocated about 4 hectares of land for development within the framework of the program of complex development of territories (CDT) on three non-contiguous plots located within the boundaries of Stantsionnaya, Ippodromnaya, Burova-Petrov, Gogol, Pushkin, Kravchenko streets and in Savelyevsky proezd. Developers who will buy out the plots are obliged to resettle the residents before demolishing the private houses. The project will be realized within seven years.

Earlier in Kurgan, two local developers bought land in the Tobol embankment area for more than 100 million rubles. Dozens of private houses are to be demolished there. Several of them have already been dismantled. Another site included in the KRT program, in the area of the former Lokomotiv plant, has not yet been sold. Demolition of dilapidated housing will be required there.

In September it was reported that Kurgan plans to lay a new road to the industrial park "Kurgan Energomash", which is located in the Eastern district. On the territory of the industrial zone there are several factories at once. The cost of road construction is about 20 million rubles. The funds will be allocated from the city budget.
