"Kama" showed a pre-production version of the domestic electric car "Atom"

The Kama company, which is developing the domestic Atom electric car, has shown the first pre-production prototypes of the model. It distributed photos of the electric car in its Telegram channel on January 28.
The developers of Atom said that these are full-fledged cars with working functionality, and their design fully corresponds to the future serial version. The pre-production samples are assembled by the project team off the assembly line using a non-serial technological process and are intended for physical testing in laboratories, on testing grounds and public roads.
"From the start of Atom's design documentation to welding the first body on the assembly line took just two years - one of the best times in the auto industry," the company said.
Atom prototypes are now undergoing system calibration, software customization, and a series of real-world tests.
December 20 last year it was reported that before the launch of mass production in 2025, the electric car "Atom" will pass three rounds of crash tests, they use 30 cars. The developers of the model plans to get a result equivalent to four stars on the C-NCAP safety rating.

Serial production of Atoms is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025, electric cars will be produced at the Moscow plant Moskvich.
