The Baltic Summer vessel detained off the coast of Portugal has entered the port of St. Petersburg

The container carrier Baltic Summer, detained off the coast of Portugal, entered the port of St. Petersburg in the morning of January 28. The video clip is published by Izvestia.

Earlier in the day, the former second mechanic of the vessel Alexander Gorovoi said that a possible reason for the detention of the container ship Baltic Summer off the coast of Portugal, on board of which were crew members from Russia, could be a cargo inspection.

Gorovoy explained that several years ago in the port of St. Petersburg on board the ship were found drugs, so the container ship and could be stopped off the coast of Portugal. The ex-mechanic of the ship added that the sailors would not go for such a crime, as it would be possible to put a cross on the rest of their lives because of insignificant money.
