A case has been opened over the attempted murder of a woman with her children near Irkutsk

In Balagansky district of Irkutsk region a criminal case has been opened over the attempted murder of a woman with four children. This was reported on January 28 in the regional investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"A criminal case was initiated against a man suspected of committing a crime under part 3 of article 30 subparagraphs. "a, c" part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder of two and more minors")", - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.

According to the investigation, at night in the settlement of Balagansk in a private house there was a conflict between former spouses. During the quarrel, the man took a canister of gasoline, poured it on the floor in the hall of the house and set it on fire, after which he fled the scene.

In addition to the woman, there were four of her minor children in the house. They were able to leave the burning room on their own and call the emergency services, after which they were hospitalized. Later the man was detained in the course of operational activities.

Earlier, on January 13, it became known that a criminal case was opened on the fact of robbery against two young men who beat with a hammer an 18-year-old girl with a child in Novokuznetsk. According to the source of "Izvestiya", the victim was previously engaged in drug distribution. In an attempt to complete the criminal activity, an unknown person published the girl's private data on the Internet, and later two young men attacked her with a hammer in the presence of her two-year-old son. It was established that the attackers were a previously convicted 15-year-old teenager and a 24-year-old man. Both have been detained.
