In the Yakutsk settlement of Tiksi the main water pipeline froze due to blizzard and severe frost. This was reported in the operational headquarters of Yakutia on January 27.

"In the settlement of Tiksi in the Bulunsky district during a blizzard froze the main water pipeline leading to the pumping station," - said in the message of the operative headquarters in Telegram-channel.

According to the Ministry of Housing and Energy, water and heat supply continue in normal mode. It is specified that at night there were noticed interruptions in the work of auxiliary equipment of water supply. The reserve water supply line will be switched on after the weather conditions improve. At the moment, water to the houses comes from Lake Melkoye.

At the moment, the issue of clearing roads for repair work on the water pipeline is being resolved.
