On the same day, the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand said that since the end of autumn the weather in the country has been influenced by Atlantic air - thanks to it temperature anomalies are observed not only in the European part of the country, but also in Siberia and on the Pacific coast. Against the background of Atlantic influence, temperature records have been set in some regions. For example, in Ulan-Ude and Irkutsk the temperature is slightly above zero. Thus, the 1921 record of -4 degrees Celsius was exceeded.
