Russian ambassador says South Korea interested in developing cooperation with Russia

Despite political uncertainty in the Republic of Korea, the country's political circles are interested in developing multifaceted cooperation with Russia, Russian Ambassador to the ROK Georgy Zinoviev said in an interview with Izvestia.

"Many representatives of political circles and the public in the Republic of Korea are interested in the healthy development of multifaceted cooperation with Russia. I wouldn't link this to one or another political views - just sensible people of any persuasion realize that the restoration of interaction is in the interests of the Republic of Korea itself," the diplomat said.
