Four residents of Horlivka injured in AFU shelling
Four residents of Horlivka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) were injured during shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). This was reported by the head of the DNR Denis Pushilin on January 27.
"In the Central City district as a result of the use of cluster-type artillery by the enemy, an employee of the DNR State Unitary Enterprise "Water of Donbass" - a man born in 1968, also suffered streetcar driver - a woman born in 1975, a man born in 1958 In the Kalininsky district as a result of the use of cluster-type artillery by the enemy, a man born in 1976 received medium wounds," he wrote in Telegram-channel.
Pushilin specified that all four victims are receiving the necessary medical care.
In addition, said the head of the DNR, six houses in the city were damaged in Nikitovsky and Tsentralno-Gorodsky districts, while three objects of civilian infrastructure were damaged: the Palace of Culture in Kalininsky district, as well as a school and a boiler house - in Nikitovsky district. A tramway was also damaged.
The AFU launched more than 20 attacks with artillery shells of 122-millimeter and 155-millimeter caliber, including cluster-type shells.
Earlier, on January 26, military investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF) reported that three civilians were killed in the DNR over the past week as a result of the actions of the Ukrainian army. It was specified that residential neighborhoods of Gorlovka, Makeyevka, Yasynuvatovskaya, Volnovakha and Svetlodarsk were subjected to systematic shelling by the Ukrainian army.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces shell the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis against the background of the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
