Two people died as a result of a fire in the south of Moscow, reported on Monday, January 27 in the capital department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"It is preliminarily established that on January 27, 2025 there was a fire in the apartment of a residential building located on Mihnevskaya Street in the city of Moscow. After the elimination of the fire in the apartment found the bodies of two people," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

Investigators arrived at the scene. To establish the circumstances of what happened will be appointed expertise.

It is specified that, according to preliminary data, the tenants of the apartment systematically abused alcoholic beverages.

Earlier, on January 25, two men died and another suffered in a fire in a private house in the Bryansk region. Specialists of the Russian Emergencies Ministry later extinguished the fire. Three tanker trucks were involved in extinguishing the fire.
