The BCOP spoke about strategic cooperation with the Yaroslavl Region

Cooperation with the Yaroslavl Region is of strategic importance for PSB, said Petr Fradkov, Chairman of the Bank. In Rostov Veliky he signed an agreement with Governor Mikhail Evraev. The document confirmed earlier agreements on changing the address of PSB's legal and tax registration.

"In terms of the total number of our employees working here, the region is the third in the country after Moscow and St. Petersburg. This region is familiar to the bank and is a promising platform for the implementation of investment and social projects, the relocation of a number of PSB divisions will have a positive impact on the socio-economic sphere, will help attract additional funding for commercial and socially important projects in the region, will have a multiplier effect on all aspects of life and sectors of the economy," Fradkov said.

The cooperation agreement provides for a number of measures to create new infrastructure (kindergartens, schools and medical centers, sports facilities) in connection with the relocation of more than 5,000 employees of the bank and their families.

"The process of relocation of a large number of employees with their families will require several years and the solution of many logistical, infrastructural and personnel issues, including the construction of office and residential areas necessary for this, and we have already begun to work out the concept of integrated development of the territory", - commented the head of PSB.

Evraev, in turn, said that for the Yaroslavl region cooperation with the bank is a great impetus to development. "It is not only taxes - it is a new level of financial services to the population, new projects in the spheres of culture, education, business. It is a huge number of new jobs, investments in infrastructure and housing construction", - said the governor.

As it was specified in the press service of the bank, PSB is ready to form an educational IT-cluster in the region to train specialists. The creation of the PSB department on the basis of the Yaroslavl branch of the Finance University and the launch of the entrepreneurship center are also under consideration.
