The head of the management company in Pervouralsk is awaiting trial for embezzlement of 18 million rubles

In the Sverdlovsk region the investigation of the criminal case of embezzlement of 18.1 million rubles from the accounts of the management company (MC) has been completed. This is reported by the regional prosecutor's office on Monday, January 27.

The defendant in the case is a 52-year-old resident of the city, who was the de facto head of the MC, servicing apartment buildings (MFD). According to the investigation, in the period from October 2017 to December 2023 the woman stole from the company's accounts over 18 million rubles.

"She gave instructions to transfer funds to her own accounts and to the accounts of entrepreneurs under her control", - explain in the Prosecutor's office.

The pretext for the transfer of funds was the reimbursement of expenses for the purchase of various materials necessary for the MC to work, as well as the allegedly existing debt. In addition, as specified IA "Ura.ru", the investigators found out that from March 2019 to January 2023 the accused changed the name of the organization and its legal address several times, as well as the managers of the MC under her control.

The investigation of the criminal case under part 4 of article 154 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Fraud on a particularly large scale" has been completed. The materials have been transferred to the Pervouralsk City Court for consideration on the merits. The maximum sanction of this article provides for up to 10 years of imprisonment.
