Actor and media manager Igor Yankovsky has died at the age of 73.

AKAR noted that Yankovsky was a reliable comrade, a loyal friend, an optimistic, handsome and strong man who, thanks to his charisma, authority, and professionalism, contributed to the consolidation of advertising market participants and the growth of the Association's ranks.
In the spring of 1993, he participated in the first organizational meeting of the founders of AKAR. The Association notes that he made "a great personal contribution to its formation, structuring, and strengthening its authority" in society and business circles.From 1996 to 2011, Yankovsky was also the president of the Moscow International Advertising Festival and left a big mark on its history.
His contribution to the development of the Association and the advertising business was recognized with industry awards, and he was elected to the Russian Academy of Advertising in 2000. In 2002, Yankovsky was awarded the Media Manager of the Year award.
Yankovsky's screen debut took place in 1973 in the motion picture "It's Stronger than me." He became widely known after playing Geraldine Jr. in the television series "The Suicide Club, or The Adventures of a Titled Person" about the adventures of Prince Florizel based on the novels of the writer and poet Robert Stevenson.
