European Union (EU) diplomacy chief Kaja Kallas has officially confirmed the extension of anti-Russian sanctions by six months. She wrote about it on her X page (former Twitter) on January 27.

"Europe is getting its way: the EU foreign ministers have just agreed to extend sanctions against Russia again," the post reads.
