More than 1 billion rubles will be allocated to upgrade lighting in Birobidzhan

Modernization of the street lighting system in Birobidzhan is coming to an end. Specialists will continue to maintain working light points and install new ones where necessary. After the concession agreement expires, all network facilities will be transferred to the ownership of the municipality.

As EAOMedia IA specifies, we are talking about 4 thousand poles, more than 6 thousand lamps, about 140 devices of festive illumination. A situation center with full automation will also appear in the capital of the autonomy. If some light fixture goes out, the dispatcher will know about it at once. The troubleshooting will be carried out by an on-site team.

The total cost of the project exceeds 1.2 billion rubles. Lighting is modernized not only along the central streets, but also in dormitory districts. Later, light points will be installed in the Lukashov settlement and in the neighborhoods that are behind the crossing in the same direction.

Earlier it was reported that in Birobidzhan will improve the graves of those who built the city. This is the purpose of the project "They were the first", developed by the public organization "Preservation of Historical Heritage of EAO". The project was supported within the framework of the second competition of public initiatives of the EAO population in 2024.
