In Vladivostok, free attendance was introduced in all schools on January 28. This is due to the severe deterioration of weather conditions. Skipping classes on this day will not be considered truancy, PrimaMedia IA was informed in the city department for work with municipal educational institutions.
Forecasters warn that the snow storm will begin early Tuesday morning and will last until late evening. Precipitation will be heaviest between 10:00 and 16:00. They will be accompanied by strong winds, the speed of which at gusts can reach 22 m/s. The height of the snow cover will be 10 cm.
Citizens were advised to take into account weather conditions, to plan routes of movement in advance, to be careful on sidewalks and roads.
Road services have already switched to a reinforced mode of work. There is a reserve of sand-salt mixture for processing of roads and sidewalks. Also from January 27 to 28, a storm warning will be in effect due to intensive breaking of landfast ice.
Earlier, the chief specialist of the meteorological office of the capital Tatyana Pozdnyakova said that meteorological spring will come to Moscow several times: in January, possibly in February, and finally - in mid-March. The first spring month, according to forecasts, promises to be with a positive anomaly.
