A giant exotarium will be built on the site of a zoo in Chita

A four-storey exotarium will be built in Chita. It will appear on the site of the city zoo on Zhuravleva Street. Only small animals will be kept in the exotarium. Large ones will be moved to the zoo "Amodovo".

According to Olga Kuzmenko, deputy head of the City Committee of Urban Planning Policy, as quoted by ChitaMedia IA, the future building for exotic animals will be unique. In what will be its uniqueness, Kuzmenko did not specify, but noted that sketch concepts of the future object have already been developed.

At the moment, commercial proposals are being collected from those willing to develop design and estimate documentation. As for the Amodovo zoo, its reconstruction continues. The first stage has already been completed.

At the end of December it was reported that the first stage of construction and improvement of ethno-archaeopark "Sukhotino" was completed in Chita. It is planned to be completed in two years. On the territory built a museum pavilion and created an exposition inside it, installed a warm toilet and a site for garbage. In addition, a staircase to the observation deck, piers and a recreation area have appeared. The construction of ethno-villages is planned for next year.
