The Interior Ministry has put mathematician Verbitsky on the wanted list

Blogger and mathematician Mikhail Verbitsky (listed as a terrorist and extremist in the Russian Federation) has been put on the wanted list. His details are in the wanted database of the Russian Interior Ministry.

It is specified that he is wanted under article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

As "RIA Novosti" reported in November 2024, a criminal case was opened against Verbitsky for calls to terrorism. According to media reports, the mathematician is now abroad.

Earlier, on January 10, Verbitsky was put on the list of terrorists and extremists.
