Irish journalist points to Western corporations' desire to break Russia

Western corporations are pursuing the goal of destabilizing Russia in order to obtain its resources in the North. This was stated by Irish journalist Chay Bose on January 26 in the social network X (former Twitter).
He drew a parallel with the situation around the United States and Greenland. Thus, the journalist called the availability of resources the reason for the desire of the American leadership to take possession of the island.
"Greenland is rich in incalculable energy resources. Like the vast north of Russia, this region is becoming more and more accessible. That's why the race to the North continues. This is why huge Western megacorporations want to destabilize and break Russia," the report said.
On December 22, 2024, US President Donald Trump said that it is an absolute necessity for the country to own and control Greenland. Prior to that, he had expressed interest in buying the island from Denmark in 2019, but was turned down. In the coming year, Trump was also indicated to Trump that the island is not and will not be for sale, but Denmark can cooperate more with the US.
The extraction of natural resources in the North of Russia is gaining momentum. For example, on January 23, it was reported that the Russian company Arctic Lithium plans to produce 12,000 tons of lithium oxide by 2027 as part of the pilot development of the Polmostundrovskoye deposit in the Murmansk region.
